New Learning:
This week students have been applying their weather vocabulary to learn about the weather in Argentina. They have used a Spanish map of Argentina to learn about how weather varies in different regions, worked with Celcius to Fahrenheit conversions, read about different weather patterns and read a newspaper front page and watched a video about a rare snowfall in Buenos Aires. The Monday classes also listened to a song called "Invierno" by Reik to practice listening skills with weather related words.
Upcoming Assessment:
Students will be tested on weather vocabulary in context on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. The questions will come from: http://quizlet.com/2391725/el-tiempo-y-los-dias-avanzado-flash-cards/ and be based off of the learning they did in their weather activities packet this week. Students need to be able to complete the test without a word bank and spell words accurately. To study, students may also use www.zondle.com (there is also a free app for the site) They would need the class code: 1913-5709 to find the correct class. Zondle practice the vocabulary in a more game-based format.
