Students this week continued to work on body part vocabulary and telling what hurts or is wrong through online activities, songs, and a project. Students created three dialogues about what hurt as homework that then turned into part of their pair project in class. Students used an app called StoryKit to type, illustrate and record their dialogues. To make sure everyone was sharing equally in the work, students also used Google Docs to share their dialogues to the person working directly with the app. Tuesday's class has not done the project yet and will do so on this Tuesday. Students will do a Gallery Walk to see the projects of other students next week or the following week for the Tuesday class, due the the shortened week this upcoming week.
We will be completing the body parts unit with this project and moving on to talk about school supplies students need with Diálogo 3D. There is a link to the new list under Vocabulario y Apps. The new Quizlet set is also under that tab.
More and more students are using Duolingo to practice Spanish independently online or with the App. It's great to see their interest! I have started "following" many of them through the app so I can see how they are progressing. Feel free to try it too if you want to brush up on some Spanish or want to start learning yourself!
